DAY 01: COCHIN – MUNNAR

On arrival to Cochin Airport/Railway Station our representative/ driver will greet you and shall accompany you to our first attraction-“Munnar”.

Munnar is lovely hill station in the south-western state of Kerala, India. Munnar is situated around 1600 m above sea level in the Western Ghats range of mountains. Munnar provides a pleasant experience with cool weather during the monsoon.

On the way to Munnar you will be stopped to enjoy the white spray of water from the beautiful waterfalls of cheeyappara and valara. Also you will be stopped at karadippara view point to enjoy the view of Munnar. After reaching the hotel/resort check in and relax for the day.

DAY 02: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

After having breakfast you will be taken for sightseeing.

The sightseeing includes places like Top Station where mist and fog surrounds you, Echo point where you can feel the scenic beauty of nature, and Kundala dam where you can have the thrill of boating, Mattupetty dam, Rajamalai, Eravikulam National Park and more.

After a wonderful day with Munnar return back to hotel/resort and relax.

DAY 03: MUNNAR – THEKKADY

After having delightful breakfast in the morning, drive to Thekkady and check into Hotel.

Thekkady is located near to Kerala & Tamilnadu border. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.

Enjoy the drive between the Tea Mountains and boating in Periyar River; also enjoy other wonderful wild life sanctuary. By evening return back to hotel and relax yourself. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

DAY 04: THEKKADY – MADURAI

In the morning after having your breakfast, proceed to The Temple City- Madurai. Check into the Hotel.Madurai is the third largest city in Tamil Nadu, located on the banks of River Vaigai. It has been a major settlement for two millennia and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Enjoy visiting the historical places like Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, and Gandhi Memorial Museum. By evening come back to Hotel, relax for the day and overnight stay at Madurai.

DAY 05: MADURAI – RAMESWARAM

After having breakfast, proceed to Rameswaram – The Varanasi of South. Rameshwaram is situated at the tip of the Indian peninsula. In the Hindu mythology Rameshwaram is considered a sacred place for the Hindus. Legends have it that Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea, from Rameshwaram, to rescue his consort Sita, from the clutches of the demon king, Ravana. This is also the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to wash away the sin of killing Ravana. Rameshwaram is known as the Varanasi of south India. It is said that a pilgrimage is Varanasi is incomplete without a pilgrimage to Rameshwaram.

Check into Hotel and Visit the historic places such as Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi and Pamban Bridge. Return to Hotel by evening, relax and Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

DAY 06: RAMESWARAM – KANYAKUMARI

Drive to Kanyakumari after having breakfast, the southernmost tip of the Indian Subcontinent.

Kanyakumari is located near Nagercoil. It has an average elevation of 0 metre. Contrary to the popular (and sensational) belief that Kanyakumari lies at the meeting point of three water. Sunrise can be seen in Kanniyakumari throughout the year at Bay of Bengal. Sunset can be seen from View Tower throughout the year except the months of June, July and August.

Proceed with sightseeing for the places like Kanyakumari Bagavathiamman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Dhiyana Mandapam –area of meditation, etc , and overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

DAY 07: KANYAKUMARI – KOVALAM

After having breakfast Proceed to Kovalam from Kanyakumari – The Southernmost District in Tamil Nadu.

Kovalam is located just 16 km from Trivandrum-The capital of Kerala. The whole of Kovalam is made of the three crescents – The Lighthouse, Samudra and the Hawa beaches. Kovalam is a beautiful place to explore its beaches with scenic shores and a beautiful coastline.

Check in to hotel, later visit beach and relax. Overnight stay at Kovalam Hotel.

DAY 08: KOVALAM SIGHTSEEING

Have your breakfast along with the breezy air of beach and drive for sightseeing where plenty of leisure options available like Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, catamaran cruising etc by which you will be in a separate world of yours.

The sightseeing also includes Vellayani Lake, Karamana River and boating, Kovalam Art Gallery and more. Return back to Hotel/Resort in the evening and relax yourself.

DAY 09: KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM

After having your breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for departure. On the way you can enjoy the sightseeing places of Trivandrum such as Padmanabha Swamy Temple (one of the most popular Vishnu Temples in South India), Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum and the Museum complex, Kanakakunnu palace. Travel back to your home with wonderful memories of amazing experience in Kerala.
